New England.. the cold part.
I am way too old to enjoy the twilight series... married, kids, boring, stable and happy.... but... I like books that are long, because I read really REALLY fast. Every few months I break out Twilight, finish it in a day or 2 depending on chores that need to be done, then new moon, then eclipse, and then finally Breaking dawn. I got through all 4 in 10 days this time, DH was home and I honestly didn't spend a lot of time reading... does anyone else read a series over and over again? Or is it just me? The nice thing is that the books are so long, and there are 4 of them, that after a while, I've kind of forgotten what's going to happen next... then i start all over!

I'll have to get those books and read them... everyones going nuts about them.
As for re-readng a book.. nah.. i dont re-read them. Cause i already know how it ends..

Same for movies.. i'll never watch a movie twice...

Hey the author of Twilight is married with kids sooooo....I guess we (adults) can read it too

I bought the first book for my daughter and I ended up reading it too. I liked it so read the rest of them.

I like the Sookie Stackhouse book series too. I've been watching True Blood the last few seasons and like it but the books are better. I am crazy for books but I mostly like literature and fictioon genre with some biography etc.

I haven't read the books yet *note to self, go to library* but I have seen the first two movies.

I also will read a series of books, and then re-read them. I like long books, too, because I read fast.

I have an 8' tall bookshelf stuffed with the books I love... most are in a series... I'll go out in the hall and give y'all the list:

The sookie stackhouse series (charlaine Harris)
The Princess Meredith series (Laurell K. Hamilton)
The Anita Blake Series (Laurel K. Hamilton)
the Harper Connelly series (charlaine Harris)
The Twilight series
The fred series (mary janice davidson)
Stephanie Plum series (Janet evanovitch)
The undead and series (Maryjanice davidson)
the Rachel Morgan series ( Kim Harrison)
Harry potter series
the Nancy CLue series (mable maney) Lesbian mystery novels that spoof nancy drew and are hilarious... next on my list of repeats.

and I have EVERY book in each series, and sort of cycle through depending on my mood. Disclaimer, I do NOT really like Laurel K. Hamilton's recent books. I buy them because I liked her first 7 books in the Anita blake series, and the 1st book in the meredith series, but the writing style has gotten seriously sad... it's x-rated, and just goes on and on... I get tired just reading about heaving bosoms... but if you skip those parts, the books are like 5 minutes long... and I continue to buy them and stick 'em on the shelf....

Yep, I've read many series more than once; Clan of the Cave Bear (going way back!), Dark Tower, Mother Earth, Father Sky,Twilight, and currently working on the Sookie Stackhouse novels. Oddly enough, I am enjoying the series more than the books, though. Gotta love True Blood!

i hate rereadin books
the only book i have ever reread was Thirteen Reasons Why (read it 18x) love that book
Twilight books are awesome, the movies....well the movies made me cry. in a bad way. slit my wrists and jump off a bridge sad. it was beyond a disapointment

Vampire academy and Georgina Kincaid Series Both by Richelle mead.

I'm old, married, mom, busy, etc.....

HOWEVER, my 13 year old left her twilgiht book in the bathroom, and I started reading. Had all 4 read in less than a week. I'm a new addict. I bought the movies now too, but I finished reading all the books first. I've reread the first one again allready.

All in 15 days now. Before 15 days ago, I was totally clueless. I loved interview with the vampire, and that series though too. I guess I just didn't want to be part of the "group" so I'm a few years behind on the addiction. LOL

I have read them and must admit enjoyed them. Not been long enough to want to reread them though.

Did hear something disappointing though. Mentioned to the woman at the book store it was surprising she hadn't released another one yet. Last one just didn't read like a final book.
She said apparently there was another but it got leaked online and the author got the sheets and withdrew it and said she won't be doing any more.
