Twin chicken development

I was just alittle confused by this, because surely unless they were identical twins, they would have to have their own blood network. So if they shared an inner membrane, then half of the blood in the membrane would belong to the other chick?

It's an interesting read.

The odds of even one surviving is very steep so your little egg has done well, even if the other chick doesn't make it.
