So im almost 90% positive i have a double yoker egg due to hatch the 25th. And i've read they cant hatch on their own. I've went on youtube and saw these people had to help their double yolker egg hatch, and they were perfectly fine when she helped them. So on the 25th, should i help the egg hatch just on the off chance it is a double yolker? Please help me!!

Oh, wow! How exiting! Another member here successfully hatched a double yolker. You can read the full story and what needed doing here:

Good luck and keep us posted!

Tomorrow is the 25th. Let us know how it goes!

Whatever you do, don't tear the membrane. Keep it moist and warm so it doesn't dry down onto the chicks. Also, they need the struggle to free themselves from their tight enclosure. Without it, they may have leg problems/weakness. So don't do any more for them than absolutely necessary... like allowing the upside right one to pip so he can breathe and then if you're SURE you have twins, break the shell off in a tiny place (like a pip) and make a very small hole in the membrane. It will likely bleed but if you keep it small, it should be alright. It only needs to be big enough to allow the passage of air.
