A little update this morning
Day 22
The bigger of the two eggs has shadowing in the air cell and the air cell dropped lower again since marking it last night. These are signs to me that we are on lockdown now
I won’t be picking the eggs up anymore but will still check by leaving them in place
The other egg is not as far ahead
The air cell isn’t dropping yet and no shadowing. This can be due to my incubator having warmer spots so one went a little faster
Hopefully I can get a video of the egg rocking. I thought I was going crazy the first time I hatched eggs and I swear I had the babies in one spot but came back and they were moved

Egg 2 our bigger of the two eggs did Rock twice just now. I tried to video and it wouldn’t do it again
I did take pics of the final weigh in
Egg 1 start 98 now 87
Egg 2 start 104 now 93
I am a bit concerned over egg 1 as it’s not looking as full and smaller air cell but lost more weight But still see movement
Egg 2 is right on where I was hoping at the 10ish % weight loss
The egg rocking ,
Shadowing and air cell drop are all things that lead to a hatch time
Although it’s good if one egg is behind the other that gives me time to focus on one to make sure both babies hatch
My motor got wonky and really loud just now
Thankfully I have a second bator the same and was able to switch the tops without having to move the eggs
To come this far and have that happen would be terrible
Pics of final weigh in and the air cells I marked last night and how one has already grown since then

I m crossing my fingers soooo bad! If the humidity is too high, it may drown the embryos. As long as they're moving, then it's fine.

The higher humidity was to have a smaller air cell happen giving them more room to grow
Today I took some water out and it’s about 55 now
I’ll put it back to 65 once I see an internal pip
The one egg is filling in really nice the other one I see more space still but I’m not going to worry yet. It may hatch a few days behind the farther looking egg
I mean I have had single eggs do the same thing so I won’t worry yet
Plus they are only end of day 22 now
Still see movement in both eggs but not picking them up so I’m not sure if all 4 are moving
Going to be a stressful week

The eggs look good at this point

These eggs are much bigger then my regular duck eggs. I usually get 70-74 grams give or take a few grams
These were 98 and 104
Having the egg loose less weight and having smaller air cells would give the babies that little extra they need
I can’t guarantee anything yet but I’m happy with what I’m seeing so far
