Twin ducklings in 1 Egg - What should I expect?

Don't mean to hijack the thread but now I'm curious: in cases like this is it possible for each duck to have a different father? I know they can hold onto stuff for a few weeks.

I would think you would need to make a safety hole for the duckling without an air sac. No one here has successfully hatched twins but I am pulling for you.

So when I looked tonight the air sack is getting really big. And it’s not located on a distinctive side of the egg it almost looks like it’s located on the side. I can’t tell if I could see two movements. But I know I saw one. I moved other eggs to lockdown today that are due next week.

I've tried to hatch twin eggs on two occasions, but they never even developed so I'm not much help here. Can't wait to see what happens though! I really hope they hatch, they're going to be so cute!

Wowzers! I'm jumping on the Twin Ducks Train, too! Best wishes for an awesome outcome! Is there any way you can set up a camera to run by itself, to take video while you're busy assisting so we can watch the historic moments? Or have an assistant maybe? Oh I'm so excited!

I potentially could. I’ll also post pics of the first set that are due to hatch on the 8th. Will be my first eggs that are MY eggs on my farm
