They aren't zipping. I pulled the shell away but stopped when I saw veins and one yolk wasn't absorbed. I put on coconut oil and out them back in the bator.

And I need all the luck I can get. Not sure who is more nervous my husband or me. He keeps texting me asking questions that I don't know how to answer.
Just wait.
The less you open the bator now the better since the egg is open.

What you are going to need to do though is protect this egg if others start hatching.
A paper towel in a coffee cup is a good way to prevent others from touching this egg.

Ok... I'll do that.

A chick hatched and has a very skinny strand hanging from it... What is it? I didn't pull it off. I put the chick in a small bowl

I just reread this and it may not make sense but what I meant to say was put a paper towel in a coffee cup and put the egg in the coffee cup.

Don't pull it... You will pull the chicks intestines out.

Can you get a picture of it?

I can try. I'll probably end up killing all my chicks opening up the bator this much :confused:but I'm not giving up
Just leave it.
A picture isn't important.
It will dry up with time.

I got the pic, I had to put the twins in a bowl... My husband is going to look like this when he gets home and sees I used our eating bowls I use for dipping sauces :barnie
