Great...I couldn't tell in the picture but if he's closed up then he should be fine that little piece will dry up and shrivel off on its own.

I looked and there was not really a hole or anything. I have 7 external pips now. I'm not opening the bator at all tonight unless it's to pull that chick out once he's dried

Leave him in.
Take a larger group out at once.
Not single chicks.

I got the pic, I had to put the twins in a bowl... My husband is going to look like this when he gets home and sees I used our eating bowls I use for dipping sauces

well since he doesn't have a yolk sack hanging out and his belly is closed he should be fine outside of a bowl.
