Oh my goodness they are soo cute! What kind were they again(muscovy?) I've never heard of a twin duck egg hatching...did you have to assist?

No, they hatched out just fine on their own! I think she had to chip the shell a bit on the other side so the second baby could breathe, but that's it. It's AMAZING. It's rare enough that twin ducklings make it to hatch, but for them to break out all on their own is downright mind-blowing!

Wow that is way cool....I've never heard of a successful hatch without assistance, let alone having them be ducks and both survive! Crazy!!!
