congrats! I'm sure glad that one survived. I really liked this thread. I just found it because my hen hatched a double yoke about 4 weeks ago. Both chicks survived and are really healthy just a little smaller then the other 2. If I had known about all this about twins I would have been very worried. Sometimes ignorance is bliss!! Good luck for your chick!!!

What did the other chick look like? I find it hard to believe that the other chick died and the rotting didnt kill the other one. That is one lucky chick!!!!

I have some pictures of her in the brooder, I just have to upload them, which I will do as soon as I can. She's very friendly and loves people. I'm not sure what happened with the other chick....on day 10, I definitely saw both babies moving, next to each other...but it doesn't seem to be there now, there's just that extra goo stuff that all eggs have. My mom says that before it dried out, it looked like a chick, but to me it looks like that goo stuff. I don't know what happened, exactly.
