Twisted foot from within the shell?

is it possible that my Maran chick (2 days old) got a twisted foot in the confines of its shell? It’s a pretty big chick and to start with was staying fairly immobile then after a bit tried walking on the side of the foot but is now placing its feet correctly, just not stretching to stand fully yet. It is eating and drinking. I suspect a problem with my incubator with the consistency of heat. I’ve told Hubby I won’t be using that one again.
Any one else have twisted feet that correct themselves? Hoping it will correct itself fully that is.

I've had a chick hatch with a twisted foot once, so yes, it's possible. While the chick is so young it's possible to correct the issues with some supportive care. Can you post some pics of what you've got there, so we can advise and make suggestions?
