My hen is a barred rock, she is about 9 months old. This has been happening since Tuesday but getting worse. We have been to two vets and BOTH have no idea what's wrong with her. She drinks water with help, and some food with the water. Her poop is semi regular, yellow diarrhea and normal mixed. Does not make a sound. Breathing out of her mouth. None of my other chickens are ill. Too weak to hold up her head, can control her wings and legs, but too tired to stand.

I think she has wry neck, possibly other things, too. Can you assist her in eating by holding the back of her neck and providing a mash of damp feed? Specific vitamins treat wry neck. Let me grab some help. I can look up the vitamins, but these folks will know right off the bat.

Also, do you know if her crop is functioning properly and where is she in the pecking order?

Her neck is extremely contorted. I try to help her straighten it and it just knots itself up again. Twists around and goes into her chest, then she lays on it. The vet said it's not mareks disease :(
What treatment did vet recommend? Did he tell you to give her vitamins or pedialyte or wet her food?

She is in the bottom of the pecking order because of how docile she is. She has her own separate inclosure that we keep extremely clean and safe. It cannot be head trauma from another chicken.
