What's the temperature where you are???

Please keep it! I am done with the snow and cold.
It's ok, I'm a snow collector, there's always room for more!

The snow here is like that one annoying visitor who doesn't take hints to leave. It just moves in and doesn't leave until late-May, sometimes June.

I call it the prize to pay for living in the wilderness... Because no one else wants to live here :lau

3C, "feels like" -8 (37 / 18F). Wind mid-to-high-20s with gusts up to mid-30s (mph). Grey.
24F. Strong gusts of wind, and it just started snowing. That snow's gonna end up Everywhere
I expect you're actually prepared for it there though! We had a LOT here last week, by local standards (probably about a foot of snowfall locally but drifts well over a metre in places), but even when there's only a tiny bit of snow everything just comes to a standstill

56. I can't feel my toes. We don't have enough warm blankets. This may be the end.

...Nah, I LOVE this weather. Chillin in shorts and soaking in the cool while we have it. :p
It was so nice today, wasn't it? I love working outside when it's just a little bit chilly. It makes me move quickly to stay warm and I get a lot done.

It's 34° (1 C) at midnight. It'll be 53° (12 C) and sunny today. Chicken delights will be warm oatmeal with salmon.

Still lots of snow on the mountains.

There's a ski resort called Ski Valley about an hour from Tucson. They don't have enough snow for skiing this weekend but you can still play in the snow - if you can get up there.

The one road that goes up the mountain requires 4WD and chains right now. Seven vehicles have gone off the road. They keep closing it.

The ski resort also has a nice restaurant but their outdoor seating is not available. 😄

Down here, thanks to the rain, the chickens had little green grass shoots to munch on today! A rarity!

Yeah, snow up here is a guarantee all winter, something you just have to tolerate and deal with. The first winter we lived here (I'm originally from a bit further south), we expressed our astonishment about the 1.8 meters of snow to the locals, and they laughed at us "newcomers" lol

I only laugh at other people's struggles with snow and cold as a joke (and self-preservation ;)). South of Scandinavia isn't nearly as snowy, and there's a constant "northerners laughing at the southerner's"-taunting when they have "snow-chaos". But I totally get it, especially with traffic and in bigger cities.

Every place has its weatherly peculiarities, and people are equipped and adapted for what they got. Wait 'till summer, I'm gonna complain SO MUCH about the heat! :lau
