honeypie and mcgill are pampered, 'free range' backyard buff orpington chickens, who don't like to be cooped up during the day, but at night put themselves to sleep in their eglu (which will be given to their new owner(s), along with the attached run). i will also be providing a 50lb bag of organic layer feed. they are each 3 years old, and i raised them from the time they were 2-day old chicks.
they are both pretty friendly birds, although honeypie can get a bit territorial at times, and might try to nip your feet when you clean her eglu (nothing major). it is her turf after all

they both tend to cluck a bit after laying an egg, but are generally relatively quiet. they each lay large brown eggs on a fairly regular basis.
their new owner will promise to let them live out their days in comfort and security, and promises to never cull them, even after their laying days are over. some periodic updates/pictures would also be greatly appreciated.
if interested, please reply here or send me a personal message for more information. thanks for looking!
