I have two spare roosters and a hen that are looking for a good home. All are just over four months old. We hatched out some eggs from a selection of our hens and came out with some spare Buff Orpingtons so there's one rooster and one hen. We also have a super handsome rooster that is from our B/O roo and a Speckled Sussex hen. He's deep red with some blue irridescent feathers on his tail. We had planned to keep him since he's so pretty but we ended up with another rooster from our favorite Brahma hen so we're keeping him instead. He's not shy but he's very independent, he'll come around for treats but tries to stay out of reach because he has better things to do then be caught. The B/O pair are both very shy and I haven't had time to work with them to get them over being fearful. With regular attention I think they'd be fine. Would like to see everyone go to a good home, preferably for pets but open to them being meat birds if they are treated nice while they mature. All of our birds are healthy and we've never had any illness in our flock.
