i just got a egg and it’s alive and ok but it has two air cells, so I got a egg carton and did that and tilted it 90 degrees, so it was going downward after 1 hour or so so I thought that was weird so I’m not sure if I should put it upstraight so the air goes to the bottom or were the normal air cell is.. HELP!

I’m having a hard time visualizing what you’re saying.. there is a seperate detached pocket of air in the egg?
Could you get a candling picture?

You can clearly see it has two at both ends. When I found it, it had a indent, crack thingy so I put a different cleaned shell on it and I’m stuck on if it’s air that’s trapped

Are they both attached to the egg (don’t move around) or is one free floating?

Do you think it will make it?
Honestly, I don’t know. I know very little about hatching, but I’m hoping someone who does will give you a better answer soon.

I think your best bet for now is to keep it upright with the normal air cell at the top. If the air got in through the crack somehow then I don’t think it’s very hopeful.

Are you already incubating it, or just letting it rest? If it’s already incubating then put it in an egg carton and prop one end of the carton up whenever you go to turn it. So instead of a regular turning, it’s tilted 45 degrees either way with the air cell always at the top.

That’s all the advice I have, feel free to do more research on saddle shaped air cells and detached air cells, there’s plenty of threads on this site. Good luck.

Give it a chance! It is possible it will survive! How far along is this embryo? I can't tell. I would suggest incubating upright WITHOUT TURNING for a few days to see if the egg will stabilize. Otherwise, doing tilting in a carton as opposed to laying flat is a good plan. The baby's own membranes and vasculature should eventually grow around and 'lock' the air cell in place as development continues.
