Hello, I have two broody hens that were sharing a nest of 4 eggs, this is my first time hatching my own. They alternated on the eggs, when the eggs started hatching in was told to ove them to a secure enclosure. I took the hen that was sitting n the eggs at the time and moved her and the two chick that had hatched and two eggs. The other hen started pacing back and forth by the enclosure. i tried to put her in and the first pecked at her so i took her out. only two eggs survived. what can I do with the pacer hen? Will she be alright or should I try to place her in again?

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
Could you get a chick or two from TSC to slip under the pacer at night? If you can, I'd put an egg or two under her until then just so she thinks she is still incubating them.
