TWO Broody Hens!!!

We're so close in hatch date! Oct. 7th or 8th here! First experience with a broody. My little silkie is just ready to be a momma. She's got 2 of my RIR's eggs and 1 of her own under her. I'm just sooooo excited!

So what happens when you have silkie hens and an easter egger father! has anyone ever had a cross like this? the ladie we got our first set of silkies from raises them so I am hoping that in the spring I can get a copule eggs from her for my silkies to sit on..but at this point we don't have any chickens that are even laying yet...anyday now with our standard size. I know silkies are later meaning about 7 months right? Any tips would be appreciated.
