Two Chickens...Two Questions.

Yep. I also have some Seramas. My roo is silkie feathered, one hen is not. I only got silkie feathered chicks from the hen that was also silkied, but never from the regular feathered hen. So I guess both parents need to be silkied to have silkie feathered offspring, but I really dont know.

That second one looks just like a mille fleur x silkie mix that I accidentally hatched a year or so ago.
My understanding is that both parents have to carry the silkie gene for the feathers to be silkied. Otherwise they will have normal feathers. How many toes does she have?
