So I have posted before for chopper my black austrolorp but as IT get bigger sometimes it acts like a rooster but never roos and it is 5 months or so...the other is pearl and I was told she is a Delaware. ...she is huge big thick long legs i am thinking she is mixed with something or she is a rooster and scared of other hens and just doesn't roo like chopper. ...any ideas? I will post different shots of both of them so you can see....there might be a few other chickens or roosters mixed in but just look at the white one and the black one

The Barred Rock and the Delaware are definitely males. They both have clearly visible long, thin, pointed male saddle feathers. The Australorp might be a male. It's hard to see if there are any male saddle feathers.

I know the bared rock one is a rooster...hestarted rooing at 3 months and as fat as the saddle feathers....i don't get that because we have gold laced wynedettes that have long ponty saddle feathers and they are definitely hens...we have other hens with saddle feathers as well....why don't they roo...i am talking Bout the Delaware and the austrolorp not chuckyy barred rock
