My baby is two days old and has a swollen foot and also chafing on the elbow part. I know this sounds crazy, but my husband is hispanic and swears that where he is from they put Preparation H on a swollen and cut foot.1) to help with the pain and, 2) to bring down swelling. I have done this, and it is a little better, but do you think I can safely give it Penicillin? I have Pen-Aqueous here. If so how much? I was going to post a picture, but i jumped the gun and put a bandaid on it to keep poo off of it. He is so young and I was to help. He was hopping around on one foot and eating and drinking. (before I messed with him) Now I think he is tired. Poor baby. Thank you
