two day old chick refuses to eat

I just got my chicks this morning and she was nearly dead on arrival. She was underneath all the other chicks and not standing or opening her eyes. I dipped her beak in the water several times until finally she started to wake up a bit and stand. Then I had to put some gro gel in her mouth because she was not eating and all the other chicks were eating as much as possible. So now I have noticed she still isnt eating very well on her own but she is drinking. She is walking around with the other chicks but is obviously a little weaker. What do I do?

I would scramble up a some egg and see if you can get her to eat that. You can add a little sugar to some water and see if you can get a little down her... Good luck. Hope she makes it.

Sorry I hope she makes it! I agree with the scrambled egg. Force feed a little if you have to.

You might want to put some Nutra Drench in the waterer also. Try sprinkling some starter crumbles in front of the chick,maybe she'll peck at them and eat a few. Good luck.

I tried scrambling an egg and put it in her mouth and now she is acting like she has the hiccups and not standing but still breathing. Her eyes are closed and I think she is for sure gonna dye now. Am I fighting a losing battle?
