Two different eye colors...

Wow that dominant white really took over.

She came from a clutch of eggs I randomly through in the bator this spring. I started to not even put the White Leghorn egg in the bator, because I didn't have much room left in my incubator. But I am very glad I did!

I'm interested to see the answers you get! She's gorgeous, I love her coloring! Especially the color of her beak. Can you tell if she has any vision impairment in that eye?

Thank you! I love the gray penciling on her back! I wondered about that when she was a few weeks old, but she acts completely normal. And bright lights don't bother her. She looks for predators with that eye too.

Strange indeed. Have you been able to figure out if she sees with the odd eye? It looks like a congenital defect. It may cause vision problems. If the pupil is malformed she may have problems with bright light. Other than that I can't think of anything.

The pupil doesn't look malformed, and she forages for bugs with that eye.

I think that she will be fine just do test for the possible blindness. She might not be good with light but yeah.
