Two different issues and 1 crazy me!

We have a broody for almost a month now... A 2nd one started! Oh boy... And two chickens sleep outside the coop in the run on perches... I think that's ok as it's not cold yet and they're enclosed .... I'll take opinions please! And help!

I would let them sleep where they wish, if it is predator proof. It could be that the coop is too warm for them, or with everyone in there. Chickens do not tolerate heat well, but are pretty well prepared for cold with their "fur coat."

If you aren't going to let the broodies hatch egg, it is best to break them, as they lose wieght and muscle tone and can deveop other problem if broody for a long time. Here is an article about broodies that tells how to do that.
