Two different SLWs?

We got two SLWs (Silver Laced Wyandotte) (plus six other chicks) for our broody hen after none of the eggs hatched. For some reason, the two SLWs are very different from each other. #1 is a typical SLW minus the "single" comb. #2 has many white patches and a rose/cushion comb.

Could just be poor breeding and bloodlines, or could be they are mixes, both don't look quite right as far as coloring, but they are young yet and feather coloring changes as they grow. Time will tell.
