Two eggs in one hour - help!

Good morning! Our Hermione (easter egger) has laid one egg about every week-ish. She's definitely growing back her feathers, so we've made sure to put out less scratch to ensure she's eating her feed. I've also been putting out eggshells for extra calcium.

She doesn't seem to be acting strangely all the time, but she will get hunched up and then be fine a little later on.

My newest observation is that she's going inside to roost a lot earlier than the other girls, like two hours earlier. We live in western NC, so it's still pretty bright around 8pm. Usually, the girls will head inside after 7/7:30 p.m. Yesterday, Hermione went inside at 5:30 p.m.

Is her body just trying to compensate for growing back the new feathers? Is this a sign of stress? I've tried the good ol Google and couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance!

Hunching up can be feeling the need to laying an egg. She may be having some issues.

Going to roost early...could be she's having issues or she's just getting her spot. She doesn't seem to be hiding from the flock right?

Poor girl! We watch them, and they don't seem to be picking on her. We just have the four hens now. Her feather loss doesn't seem to be from hens pecking them out - no blood or redness. They have plenty of space to run around (4x8 coop, 8x16 fully covered run, 10x13 semi-covered run, and they still have access to the other small coop). Midweek, they get a few hours in the afternoon to free range. And on the weekends, they get let out after noon or so. Her habit of returning to the coop earlier than the others is a new one - maybe just a couple of days.

Our girls are almost one year old, and today we had the weirdest experience. Our Easter egger looked strange. At first we thought she was egg bound or had diarrhea. I even went to get epson salt to prepare! Then she laid an egg outside, and looked better. Standing up straight and preening. Less than an hour later it happened again. This time with a shell-less egg. She’s had weird runny/foamy poop but I wasn’t sure if it’s because she was trying to push so much. She’s the only one who is somewhat molting.

It is probably just learning how to lay eggs. They can lay funnylooking eggs, tiny eggs, shellless eggs, double yolks etc. until they get the hang if it.
