Angel produced two eggs this morning. Is that unusual??? They were both hard shelled and normal looking.

Yes it's unusual but my mallard hen has done it once or twice.

Hmmm, someone else on the forum wrote about multiple eggs from one duck (even had a camera trained on her to be sure there wasn't a joking human involved).

I found two eggs in the Buffs' room this morning. I took them, felt around in the straw to make sure I hand't missed one yesterday.

They went in for a bit. When they left, there was an egg in the nest. I chalked it up to them hiding one of yesterday's eggs particularly well.

    Hmmmm.

    How'd Angel's - uhm - backside?

She was in a pen by herself. No other humans but me around. My cat, Purl was there, but pretty doubtful she could have pulled that off.
