Two Faverolle or not two Faverolle

These were purchased as 4 day old Salmon Faverolles. Now 3 1/2 weeks old today.

They look like Faverolles... either dark females... or males.

Were they straight run? From a breeder or hatchery?

Its early but, I am thinking males.

I would agree they are males if faverolles. I assume they have feathered legs? The darkest hatchery salmon faverolle hens I've seen were red. If that's black coming through and they've in fact got feathered legs I'd say gentlemen birds you have.

ETA: faverolles will have 5 toes. Not sure if that was mentioned or if you already knew it, but thought I'd throw that out. If they don't have feathered legs and 5 toes I'd wait to be sure before I assume
anything in regards to gender.

I would be a very surprised if either of those were female. TSC is famous for selling incorrect breed.. but not this time. 5 toes and feathered feet would be correct.

I’d kill for some Faverolles! The only other breed I’ve been wanting for ages! Can never get them round here though
