I was given some goose eggs this spring to try and hatch and ended up with two gosling's, well-said gosling's are now BIG geese. They were from eggs laid and hatched at the very end of the laying season '08, so not very old yet but already huge-fully feathered. Not mean at all but can get loud honking at times. No pictures as of yet-but soon.
They are gray and white, mostly gray on top with a slight stripping effect, and mostly white on the underside. One I think is for sure female and other I am unsure because it is shun from the flock sometimes(my only hint it might be a boy-you know how those stuck up girls can be)
So if anyone would like to come get them-let me know, They coop at night in with the chickens-so will catch them easily-I hope.
Next stop is Freecycle!
