So I have two geese one gander. The youngest goose has been laying for a week or so now and has 8 eggs in a nest that she seems to care about now and then. My older goose is now starting to lay in the nest to. If they both go broody would it make sense to let the older girl do it? I've heard first year geese aren't Great. Thanks

Hi!

You can do whatever you would like, but I've seen geese share nests before. If you don't mind them both laying and sitting, they'd probably be fine being broody together. If not, let the older one nest and try and break the broodieness of the other goose by putting her in a crate alone for some time, or keeping her in coop/run
