Thank you, everybody for your advice. My two older chickens the nine-year-old. They did not survive my one barred rock. She was hurt worse than I thought she was, but I’m taking care of her, giving her antibiotics putting antibiotic cream on her wounds and her appetite has gotten much much better. She’s getting along really good her wounds look a lot better. I didn’t realize they were everywhere. Poor baby I Cannot believe she made it. She’s a fighter she probably pecked that other animal who was trying to hurt her. She had wounds on her back two of them one I didn’t see before now I see it and they’re pretty large. Then she had one on her chest, but it was not on her crop. Another one below her crop but not on the crop. One smaller one under her wing it’s just one little hole. I’m keeping her by herself right now I put a statue of a chicken in there. Actually, I don’t have any more chickens now. I’m not sure if I want any. I don’t want to go through this anymore. But if she definitely makes it, I will get one more at least. It just tears me to pieces when something like this happens it breaks my heart. I lost my favorite chick and she was a Brahma She was so tame she would get on our laps. My husband’s talking about getting guinea fowl because they’re loud like alarm clocks and they eat a lot of bugs which he has a garden And that would help him with a snails and other bugs. So this is an update she is doing better. She is eating good and she’s acting more like a chicken now she actually makes a really loud noise about 7 o’clock saying I’m hungry lol.

I'm sorry to hear about your losses, how very sad. It's wonderful to hear your hen is healing and improving.

Thank you for the update.
