Two legged chicken stealers

So far I haven't had any repeat visitors. I did put a small camera up along with a note on my building letting them know I am watching and will do my best to shoot them if they come back.... I won't shoot anyone of course, but still doesn't mean I don't want to.

If it makes you feel any better, a few years ago we had a veritable plague of big flying water bugs. At night they were attracted to the street lights, and they woke me up by banging into my car.

The next morning I discovered that what woke me up wasn't water bugs hitting my car, it was thieves stealing my wheels.

I still kick myself for hearing them but not even getting up to look out the window.

trap a skunk, hide chickens somehere else and let them open the coop door.

. or

put a gob of permanent ink on door latch, knob, ect what ever you got. then put a big leg trap set up just dont forget to put divider up so chickens dont get near door.

Man that kind of thing boils my blood.

On my parents property- where I have my birds- I put up a sign on their fence that reads "NO Trespassing, violators will be shot, survivors will be shot again".
And it works,
we had to call the cops once for something, and the cop wouldn't come onto the property until one of us went to get him.

My dad and I regularly do target practice w/ the recurve bow and the compressed air pellet rifle in the back yard in plain view, leaves no guessing about what we would do to a trespasser.

I'm sorry for your birds.

Those motion sensor cameras that record on memory cards work really well, we use it to get a glimpse of the coons digging for grubs in my mom's vegetable garden.
