we asked the police officeres to patrol the way around the entrance to the ssecond half of the trai lalready though that might not help since its a dense path. i inlisted the resident to check on them if she hears a ruckuss. the hens hate the fact that i am taking there eggs right after they lay them they tell my roo who explores the nestinng areas thouroughly! they are paranoid but who can blame them.
Them eggs got to be on the verge of a stinky explosion to get it to sink into their pea brains, they will be smelling it for a few days as the particles in the air will attach to their nose hairs.tempting...ever so tempting... one of the kids said that they didnt know the "difference between a chick egg and an eating egg" ill tell you what i so wanted topull their leg. maybe if there is a nother very sudden shortage of eggs i will incubate some eggs (none of my hens are broody but i have a roo) and mark them so i dont collect them and then if i come back and they arent there i will pray that the problem is delt with.... 10 days seem enough time to incubate the eggs and hav it so the embryo is noticeable or should it be less? if someone does the egg stealing thing again iknow what to do!![]()
