say, nice broody hutch! Yep, thanks for the info, we know what to do now. We're going to keep them in the coop but separate them so that the small things don't get trampled. They are up, eagar to look around and dive in and out of their mama's feathers. this morning I placed chick starter in front of the broodies, and they dove right in. the chickies watched and tried to emulate but I think that they might not be ready, maybe in a few hours. The chickies have turned colors. One is gray, one is yellow and one is silver and white. All the eggs they came in were the greenish one's. This is our first time at this, and we are having a good time.
