Oh really! I was just looking at that too. They are out in the driveway so will that file it? I noticed he was dragging his beak on the cement a couple of times. Otherwise I will have to look that up because I have no idea about that! Thank you for mentioning it! The interesting thing is, I commented on his beak from when he was one day old. It has always been a little odd .Agreed. Both boys. The lighter one needs a little beak trim.
If you get someone to help you, you could just use human nail clippers and trim the top beak only. I have to trim my Silkies’ beaks periodically, usually every few months as needed. If they have access to hard surfaces they will wear it down on their own. I keep cinderblocks in the runs but it doesn’t always help enough.
