I have two maran hens one black copper and the other blue splash.

They have feathery legs and ever since the first few pin feathers broke, thwy have been regrowing these deformed bloody pin feathers near the bottom of her leg. Ive plucked the same pins about 30 times already on both hens but the feathers keep on coming. I feel terrible because it must hurt them to have to constantly go througu this.

How do i help them grow normal feathers? Or even preventthem from growing back?? Thank you!
