Hey all!
Two little goslings hatched aound the end of may and they're doing great! It looks like it'll just be those two, oh well. One is an embden i believe (Grey back, yellow everywhere else, orange feet and bill) and I dont really know whether the younger one is a brown chinese or a troulouse... pictures online are so similar!
Anyways, first time goose owner here! Never ever thought we'd get geese but here we are. I find the older one, the Embden, is a real biter.. grabs hold and yanks like crazy, has an obsession with biting hair and playing tug with it. I know it might be too early to see if this will be a forever problem, but we really don't want them to be mean when they get big, otherwise they can't be free range. Tips?
I read a bit on here about angel wing being a risk with geese, and that having grass could help prevent it? I try to take them outside to walk around and graze everyday, but lately I've been really busy, an haven't had time. I'll start cutting grass up for their brooder tomorrow I guess.
Thanks!

Emma
