My 4 month old chicks had been sleeping in the corner of the run. I didn't think this was a big deal until Stubby lost his wing, due to a predator pulling it through the fencing. He is moved to an unused dog kennel and using a doghouse to sleep in. That night I put my other chickens (all but my banty hen, she roost high in a bush in the run) in the coop and blocked it off. Did this for 2 nights. The 3 night I went out to see all the chicks going into the roost for the night

. I was surprised, I thought it would take at least 5-7 days. Last night I thought I would try letting them out of the run about an hour b4 dark. Surprise!!! they all went into the run, and into the coop at bedtime. Yeah!!!!
