Yes agreed!!! And that is awesome!!! I should start working out again too or even just stretches and walkingVery informative, too. Useful.
I've been meaning to start doing a little workout routine. Some pushups, squats, and stretches. Maybe a Conan pose and some planks. Work on endurance, flexibility, and strength.
Well said. Thank you so much for talking with us about this and giving us advice.Don’t hold your breath. Tighten up as much as possible. Exhale sharply as struck if you have time. Don’t hold it ever. Don’t panick if/when your wind leaves. You will not pass out. Damage is done. Surprise with motion. Whomever hit you is expecting a crumbling mass that’s afraid. Don’t be. Inflict enough damage to stop aggressor enough to remove yourself from that position.
All the advice in the world will do nothing. It needs put into practice. You will default to training when you enter ‘fight or flight’Well said. Thank you so much for talking with us about this and giving us advice.
I get all the weirdoes. Ive been asked to pay for peoples’ gas at the station, hit up for money in parking lots, hit up for “other stuff” lots of times. Scary! Freakin’ weirdos! Training is the absolute most important. I insisted my wife take a year of hand to hand self defense before starting to religiously carry her sidearm. We still glove up and brush up technique, as well as try new stuff every 4-5 months.
