Hi! 2 questions here-
1) noticed by 4 day old chick had poopy butt this morning. And cleaned her off by running area under warm water and gentle towel removal… it was red and out a little, is this just from the irritation or could it be a vent prolapse?
2) one of the chicks (the yellow one, which is supposed to be a sage gem bantam, all are bantams) is much bigger and already has feathers on the wings, much more than the other 3. Could this be a male or just all chickens develop at a different pace?
Thanks!
