Two racoons! Wat do?!?!

Two racoons crossed in front of my husband's car tonight (he didn't hit them). They were only about a quarter mile from my house.

My chickens are safely sleeping in their hen house. However I have not finished reenforcing their run with hardware cloth and I like letting them out into the yard during the day when I can. Do racoons attack during the day? Should I put out traps or something? Or should I just focus on finishing the coop reenforcing and let jesus take the wheel?
 
Yessir and also if they do become a problem call ur
local animal control. They haven’t ever attacked during the day for me, and if your coop is licked and they can’t get it at all you should be good! Have a good,luck

The shouldn't attack during the day
 
Oh, I loathe those smart creatures. Lost 3 girls to them, all at night. Used to leave the run door open, not anymore.
