Two Roos and five hens...

...is it okay? One is an australorp the other (which is still debatable) is a silkie. Will they be okay together or will they fight?

Anybody? The others who are hens are a California white, barred rock, sl wyandotte, black star, and a silkie.

probably yes, but you do have too many roos for that many hens.

Hmm...bummer. What is the proper roo to hen ratio?

Generally 1 roo to 10-12 hens.

I have always done 1 roo to 5-8 hens and they arent overbred.. but I also let them free range during the day.
