Also, their combs don’t look like my SLW hen when she was a chick, she has a rose comb and I swear it looked different when she was a baby. Could be remembering wrong though lol
I think it's too soon to have a guess on sex but in case a reference helps at all this is my SLW Pullet (you're right about pea comb) at 5weeks. Post pics in a few weeks, it'll be interesting to see how they turn out!!
Silver-laced Wyandottes (all Wyandottes), especially from hatcheries, can sport single instead of rose combs; however, it is much to early to say whether the birds are male or female definitively.
