Two week old Barred Rock trying to fly out of brooder

That is what I am thinking, it is just that that will take up alot of space. They are in large box in my bathtub.

I raised the waterer and then put something on top so there is no space for them to jump today and that seems to work for now.

I have Barred Rocks, Buff Orps, and a few SL Wyandottes, all close to the same age (4 weeks), and man those Barred rocks are just the heaviest, strongest little chicks Ive ever had!! I have one humongous one we call Big Bird. My buff orps are growing, and are the same "size", but much lighter.
