I have a silkie chick that has an empty crop at the end of the day. The other two chicks (olive egger and another silkie) have full crops. This chick doesn't seem to be lethargic or acting funny, but it's been two days in a row now and I have noticed it has watery poops. Should I supplement mash or egg yolk for this chick?

I always feed the chicks mash, meaning wet crumbles. I use plastic jar lids, like the peanut butter lids, for it. I would try some of that and it hopefully chows down. Raw egg yolk might help if it's acting weak.

Probiotics usually can help with diarrhea.

I would definitely try to feed the chick - sometimes silkie babies won’t eat larger sized crumbles, so I always suggest smashing the crumbles so it is a lot more dusty. And then offer some dry in the brooder, but also offer some that is moist, and egg yolk is a great idea for that, you can mix it up a bit. Good luck!
