Two yolks in one egg!?!?!?!

The double yolk egg looks longer than normal. When I can find my picture, I will post for ya'll to see. In the last batch my blue hen was able to hatch all the eggs, and it was kind of funny to see more chicks than the egg count. Just like they said "thou shalt not count the chicks before hatching".

thanks . i will have to keep count on eggs and hatchlings , might have happened to me and i just didn,t catch it . don,t think so , but i will keep a close watch for this . anything is possible with nature . god bless and inform the turkey lovers and hatcherys , because they disgard all; their double yokers and say double yokes will not hatch . GREAT NEWS .WV LEIPERS

iam happy for you and your chicks out of double yoke egg ,but i would not try it , because their is is not enough air for both chicks and they usually die or are very small and weak . just not a good idea , because of the danger of the chicks dying from lack of air . that,s why the hatcherys give the double yoke eggs to the employees to eat or give to their neighbors to eat . god bless . wv leipers

Wish I could find out which Chicken is laying these eggs. Just one day of random egg breakfast.

Would love to give the little gal some special treats. First triple yoke I have ever seen.

Gotta go give them some BLS larva and some loving...

Later (wave)

I have new spring hens that are just starting to lay eggs, so they are smaller still. I have been getting double yoke eggs pretty consistently. But, I actually had a triple yoke egg!!! I have never seen that before. It was just crazy, especially since they are still relatively small.
