I’m having trouble figuring out dosage for syringe application of tylan 200. My chicken is 5 pounds. I need to know how much and how often. Any help would be great!!

Using the dose in this thread :

You'd give her 1/4ml, orally, every 6-8 hours for a five-pound chicken.

I would only use 0.05 ml per pound of the Tylan 200 and give it orally 3 times daily for 3-5 days. If using Tylan 50, then I would give 0.25 ml per pound 3 times daily. Both of the injectables Tylans have been either out of production or hard to find for a couple of years. Many can find Tylosin soluble powder to use in the water online for pigeons.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. The OP mentioned the bird weighs five pounds, so 0.05ml x 5 = so 0.25ml TID would be the final calculated dose. Not, 1/4ml per pound.
