Tylan 50 dosing instructions

Wyrop, I'm thinking of doing that. I have Tylan 50 coming from Mexico, I've tried 2 other antibiotics and neither did anything.

I did coat his face and eyes with antibiotic ointment. Maybe the puffiness is going away and he's got this flaky skin now. His ears are fine.

I would still try the Tylan, but if he didn't respond to Duramycin, then it may not be Mycoplasma - hard to know. I've seen some posters mention that Oxytetracycline doesn't seem to help anymore, but then some say it does...
Penicillins won't treat Mycoplasma since it has no cell wall.

Are you able to flush his eyes out daily, that may help too.

What do I do if I've given tylan 50 orally fit 5 days and chick is still sick.....I believe they have Corynz. And should I give to non sick looking birds of they were exposed?
Do you mean Coryza? If so I have not seen that be curable. I had to put a hen down who had that, and it is highly contagious.

The post you quoted is from 2014 so unlikely the person will respond to you.
Infectious Coryza is a contagious respiratory disease and you are correct, there is no cure - birds will remain carriers for life even if they recover. A lot of times symptoms can be treated with Sulfa antibiotics and the bird can recover enough to live a relatively symptom free life, but it's important to keep a closed flock.
