Tylan 50 injectable for geese?

I have the 5 ml so I give him two and a half milliliters. It's the 50 not the 200. He totally spit it out and screamed and flogged he actually hurt his nose

I really think that you need to give it orally. What size syringe to you have?

5 ml, I give her 2.5 ml for 9.5 lb goose and he spit a bunch out! Banging his head up aainst the wall and everything. I think I can do this max, twice a day.

9.5. I thought he was heavier. He was born in end of March, hes still a youngin

It might be easier to do with a smaller syringe. See if you can get some 1 ml or 3 ml syringes.

I’ve found that larger syringes actually work better with geese.

Smaller syringes are harder to maneuver far enough down the throat and it results in the meds getting onto their tongue or down their esophagus which causes them to violently shake their head around trying to regurgitate/ cough it up.

6ml to 12ml syringes are easier to maneuver to down their throat far enough.
Also always ensure that it’s pointed down THEIR right side of the throat as far down as you can get it, then hold their head straight up for a few seconds so the meds go down the throat.
