Tylan 50 - Once, twice or Three times a day??

I have a sick hen was egg bound then suffered a prolapes when the egg finally came out and now it is infected because it was pecked at..She is now the road to recovery hopefully

I was giving her 1/2 CC of Tylan-50 injected into her breast once a day. Today is the third day.

I was JUST told that I should be giving her the dose 3 times a day instead of just once and Tylan-200 is the only one you do once?

Is this right???

Tylan 50 injectable is given once a day for 3-5 days, alternating breasts where it's injected. Tylan 200 is once every other day, for a total of 3 days...alternating breasts. Tylan 50 injectable can be given orally as well; 1/2cc for standards, 1/4cc for smaller birds once a day for 5 days. However giving it orally takes longer to absorb into their system.
