Tylan and tetracycline

I have been treating a raspy and coughing rooster with tetracycline for a couple days but am about to run out. Can I switch to tylan, and finish the 5 day treatment or should I start fresh and do a full 7 day treatment with tylan?

If you have Tylosin (Tylan) powder then I would follow the dosing instructions on your package. So if it states give for 7 days, then do that.
